1.Sledders have a great abundance of trails to enjoy some hill, some treed windy trails, and some straight open areas. We Groom over 400 kms of trail in the area trying to rotate a once per week groom. Trail all lead into the Moose Mountain Park area. Our area includes communities of Carlyle, Arcola, Kisbey, Stoughton, Corning, Windthorst, Kipling, and Kennedy. Along with Kenossee Lake and White Bear Lake.
2.All of our trails are linked together in this region.. That means you can start in Stoughton and travel through to Kenosee and spend the night in the park then venture back or explore the rest of the Moose Mountain Snowmobile trails. Every trail is properly signed with destination markers, trail heads, and distance markers throughout.
3.We as a region DO NOT CHARGE for our maps. We have them distributed at local snowmobile dealers, and also local fuel stations.
4.We have warmup shelters throughout our trail system.. New shelters are being set up for the Stoughton area, Kisbey area, and a new one for the Kipling area.
5.Trail passes are purchased with your snowmobile registration through your local insurer in Saskatchewan. As for out of province sledders will ride free of charge as long as they have a registered sled from their own province or state.
6.Snowmobile events in the area include out annual Farmer Drags held at beginning of March, in Corning. Also Arcola Optimist have a huge rally during the last weekend of January
7.This area challenges riders from every skill level with hill areas, long trail rides, or ice and lake rides. With a large amount of communities around the area there should be no shortage of fuel or places to grab a quick lunch or to spend the night.
There is an abundance of motels and a few Bed and Breakfast establishments around the area, Also with having snowmobile dealers in the Carlyle, Weyburn, Kipling, and Estevan, we got all the makes covered…
